Our Story
The Paredes Lab is a research group in pharmaceutical sciences dedicated to
advancing controlled, targeted, and long-acting drug delivery.
We operate at the interface of pharmaceutics, material science, and translational
medicine. Our expertise spans nanocrystal engineering, nanosuspensions, polymeric
systems, biodegradable materials, and advanced formulation strategies designed to
modulate drug release in space and time.
We combine fundamental pharmaceutical technology with clinically driven questions.
Our work is grounded in rigorous physical pharmacy principles while aiming to
deliver practical solutions to real therapeutic challenges.
